About Bien Concepcion
Bien Concepcion has designed and developed Web sites and applications for over 19 years. With extensive experience in all aspects of website creation, Bien has been integral in the development and deployment for popular Web sites such as WorldCarFans.com and broadband internet channels such as PlaySportsTV.com and WineTasteTV.com. He focuses heavily on the marriage of design and usability – particularly for large-scale sites – and has a comprehensive understanding of functional design, information architecture, internet marketing and search engine optimization. With the face of the internet changing so rapidly, Bien constantly thinks forward and actively tests out new technologies as soon as they become available.
In addition to his Web experience, Bien also uses his visual creativity in the world of TV and Film. He has edited full-length documentary shows for many major cable networks, such as National Geographic: Explorer and The Science of Lance Armstrong on Discovery Channel. He has also edited and produced hundreds of promotional TV spots for the likes of Discovery, PBS, TLC, National Geographic Channel, BBC America, and many others.
About John Vicari
John Vicari has over 14 years of Web development experience, and is focused on developing web applications that adhere to Web standards and accessibility guidelines. He has worked on a variety of Web projects for a diverse set of clients, including entrepreneurs, small businesses, broadband Internet channels, and higher education. John spent 5 years working at Penn State where he developed a variety of applications for colleges, departments, work units, and professors. He specializes in building logical Information Architecture, semantic HTML and CSS templates, and exceptional User Interface functionality with supporting technologies. John also focuses on cross-platform and cross-browser support, valid HTML output, and accessibility (Section 508). In addition, John has experience developing in ColdFusion, PHP, and multiple Content Management Systems.
